Hi all desperately need help. Clueless when it comes to tech.
Recently got a UPS to power up my D link rooter (Telkom ADSL) line. All good when there’s no load shedding. During load shedding the signal cuts out after 1hour. There’s power but no signal. Ups can run for over 10hours.
What am I doing wrong? Its frustrating

Check if your neighbors still have connection. It could be that the ISP/Fibre provider does not have backup batteries at the junction

OP said he is using ADSL.

The backup power for the Openserve exchange in the area is probably degraded.

You 100% correct. They confirmed it.
So much for having backup power.
ADSL also the only option where I stat
