Glass screen protector for Samsung S71

My Vodacom contract is available for upgrade by November and I'm thinking of getting a Samsung A71. On various forum I've been reading that people are experiencing difficulties with the on-screen fingerprint reader when unlocking their phone when they have installed a glass screen protector. Anyone of you experienced any similar issues on your Samsung A-series or S-series phones after fitting a glass screen protector?

Sounds about right. The A71 has an optical sensor and will struggle through glass.

The s series has an ultrasonic sensor and also struggles through glass. You're best keeping the plastic on till its tatty
