Hey ppl, any of u use this ISP's wireless connections?

I saw that sticky web intact but on their site they said they're completely dissociated from global webintact.
Any diff between these 2 companys?

I saw their coverage map and damn they cover a lot of places, so surely someone in here is using their service.
Can u tell me how stable and anything else good about this ISP coz I'm thnking of getting them.

their site : www.globalwebintact.com

I dunno.. Personally i don't trust Wireless connections.. I've had a couple.. and all of them either have a AUP(acceptable Usage policy, limiting you to 5gig or 10gig). Or they have uncapped, but don't allow peer-to-peer at all(torrents / kazaa/voip). Or they just don't give a stable service at all..

Plus u get disconnected most of the time, for days on end. Cause their fixing some tower (wich happens quite often all over the show each month)

yeah I hear that~ but anything than telkom for me.
Gonna give this a shot, but hey need to find out more about them

i'm with them... pings are crap.. and its not due to wireless.. its due to crappy network setup.. i can ping the gateway at 5ms.. then to saix its 300ms+

Called over subscribing their network
BBoy which town are in ?

So bboy, besides crappy ping, anything else?
Like if u use certain gigs in a certain time, they warn u? And are they stable, coz in the webintact thread, they seems to go down like on certain times, regularly.
And did u rent ur equips or did u buy them from them?

THanx

i have my own equipment.
i've never been capped.. or warned.. they've never even ever sent me an email for anything
they have been down.. ****ing around with the towers

I'm with them too, I have no complaints expect for the occasional downtime (really not that often, once or twice a month if at all) and the crappy latency. Otherwise you can download to your hearts content, I can use p2p like limewire, no torrents though.
