GM to introduce connected car

General Motors Co will introduce in two years its first car that can communicate with other vehicles to help avoid accidents and ease traffic congestion, Chief Executive Mary Barra said on Sunday

I am waiting for the day when all cars have it, it is as simple as integrating a Tablet into the dash. Then we can simply use Waze instead of the GPS, pair via Bluetooth etc.

You could even use audio commands to tell you when to go over a robot in the event of traffic lights being out, kind of like an automated points-man (excluding taxis of coarse)
