Gmail Attachments?

I was just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same problem.

During peak times saving a Gmail attachment (mail received) to my PC is very very slow and once complete the file is almost always corrupt. We are talking 10 minutes for a 1 meg file.

Normal use of Gmail is fine and after hours the attachements download fine. This has been going on for about two weeks now.

had one of roughly 1mb the other day, which was corrupt when i tried to open it, but i just blamed that on our lan at work

no other problems really, except that it can take really long for the page to load
