So I decided to change my email address (from one gmail account to another) which was really easy.

I opened a new account, added my old account as a secondary account and started importing all my old emails - perfect.

Problem was it put all my sent items in the inbox as well, which isnt what i wanted so i searched for "from:me" and archived all the emails, again pretty successful but a little too succesful, now any email i have replied to has left the inbox...

How do i get them back while keeping the purely sent items out of the inbox? There must be a way considering the ability to search, add labels and filters...

Don't one of you feel like working it out?

Simply: what search criteria can i put in the box to show emails that never got a reply, those are the ones that should be in "sent items" whereas all replied mail should be in my inbox...

Hi,

I'm not too sure if this will work, but it's worth a try, I guess. Do as you already stated, search for all emails with yourself as the sender, and move them to a folder. Then, in the new folder that you just created, search for mail with you as the reciever (to:me i'm guessing), and move those back to the inbox. If I'm not mistaken, that should work.

Good luck
