Yup, you are a typical end user
In the same way, you are e.g. a typical end-user of MTN/Vodacom/CellC/Virgin's service, or DSTV's service. You want the service you pay for.
Same with my clients - they do not give a rat's ass how I get the work done, they just want a proper end result.

Most of the guys using gmail here pay nothing for using it (or not directly) its free! For a free service its pretty darn reliable. I worked for companies where the e-mail availablty was not even close to gmails availability. Lets also not get started with the rich feature set you with gmail. Puts a lot of companies services to shame. And did i mention its free?
