My email has been hacked to bits.

They are breaking in.

Noticed two things in Gmail.

1. Im open in two locations and this is measured and changing as I send different content via email. The IP is the same. How do I overcome.

2. Ive noted emails not reaching recipients. How does one overcome this? How does interception work?

How can one get help in gmail. I need detailed guidance. Feedback sees no response.

Log into gmail on the internet. On the bottom there is an thing you can click. It shows you your gmail activity

Click on sign out of all other places.
Change your password.
Then sign out again.

I do recommend that yoy give the PC a quick virus and malware scan before changing the password just incase they were recording your key strokes.

1. Download Malwarebytes and scan your PC: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/

2.Open Gmail in a Web Browser. Scroll down past the last email and at the bottom right of the screen you select 'Details' where it shows 'Last Account Activity'

3.Select 'Sign Out all other web sessions'.

4. Go Back to Gmail, Log In and Go to Settings at top right (gear icon):

5. Go to 'Accounts and Import' and change your password:

6. Keep an eye on your online Google activities:

And you expect OP to understand what 2FA means.

OP : Reset your password and enable Two Stage Authentication.

Then nobody can get in without stealing your phone too.

Are you sure you got hacked at all? Your complaints seem like issues unrelated to hacking of any kind.

What's that word that almost doesn't rhyme with your username...uhm...oh yes: Google.

:D

I would have thought the first thing anyone would do if they noticed suspicious activity is change their password. :erm:

Also ensure you're using a proper password manager like LastPass so you can use unique crazy passwords, and so that if one set of login details is compromised it doesn't affect any other site.

2FA means you can pretty much use Password123.

But yes I would also change my password first thing before asking on the internet.

If someone had the same password for many of their sites they might prevent someone from logging into Google with 2FA, but it's unlikely anything will stop the same login being used on FB, Twitter, Amazon, PayPal etc. Any number of sites could be compromised.

Agreed.

Just saying in this single instance a randomized ninja password doesn’t really mean all that much.

That all passwords should be different is a given.

I only know my Google password as I use their Password Management service for everything else.

There are a few programs that need to be installed on the computer/cell phone physically or open the wrong attachment in an email .
With this kind of software the goal posts are always moving so it changes quite often ( anti spyware versus spyware ) .
Most of them you will see in your antivirus under exceptions ( allowed programs ) , i am not up-to date with the latest trends in spy programs any more .
Spector was one of the programs that was used a lot before .

On 13 November my Gmail password got reset from a PC running WIndows 10 in Pretoria. They did it 3 times. I used the recovery procedure and updated my password. According to "howsafamI" site that measures passwords, my new one will take 16 Billion years to be deciphered.

The strength of a password is usually irrelevant. People ('hackers') usually get victims to disclose their own password in some manner, use a leaked password from another site with the same login or access an account with the recovery options.

The benefit of unique passwords is containment in the case of a leak.

Then it would be in the news section?

Anyways, OP can maybe just change it to 'My Gmail Hacked - Heeeeelp". :D

Still not convinced it’s even hacked at all.

Should rather just be “Help me with Gmail”.
