Gmail + Mailto Links broken in Firefox

I've had this issue for quite a while in Firefox, if I click on a mailto link/or email address in a webpage gmail opens the log-in page everytime and if I log-in it takes me to my inbox.

To get around it I have been copy and pasting the email address into a compose window inside the main Gmail tab open but I am tired of doing this, I need to resolve it, anyone have any idea why this may be happening?

You say Firefox ... Is it normal with all other browsers?

Im using FF and all seems fine here.

No problems my side. Check your default app settings perhaps.

My Firefox mailto setting is correct, when you guys click on an email does it jump to the Gmail window or open a compose window in the same window.

Something is adding this to the mailto at the end of the weblink string : "&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1#identifier"
If I delete that then the links open a compose window like normal, not the gmail login window.
