You need to tell us a few things. Which app, for starters? Phone, software version also makes a difference based on the app you are using. Then settings, etc. Do you always have the problem, or only on mobile data?

My phone is rooted. I once saw a setting, show pics from this person. going to gmail with the laptop, the pics are their.
