I can read my gmail on my cell but when I send email it says "HTTP ERROR 404"
How do I fix this?

I don't know. In "Go to URL" I type in "HTTP://www.gmail.com" and OK button. It goes to my personal inbox.

Tried that. It is a JAVA application and shows as "GMAIL" in my JAVA APPLICATIONS. When I open it, it says "JAVA GAME ERROR"

Sounds like you have problems with the Java on your phone.
I would suggest trying a hard reset of your phone, just remember to backup your contacts etc first.

Oh yeah, also check out, Gmail supports POP3 and IMAP downloading, so you can probably use your phone's builtin email client. Check Gmail for instructions on port numbers etc.

Wow, that's way above my head. Thanks anyway.

Samsung phones don't have the needed security certificates to run the gmail app.

Sorry, I don't know what's causing your problem.
