Gmail on MTN

Hi

Setup a pc for somebody yesterday and using outlook with pop to download their gmail mails. Worked fine while downloading on my adsl line. But nothing works when trying to download via 3g on mtn?

Any settings i should be aware of?

Can't think of any MTN-specific settings, but you may want to consider using IMAP instead of POP3. One big advantage is that you don't end up downloading the same batch of emails over and over if there's a failure during transmission.

Actually, quite true. Downloaded all emails again. Copied pst file for backup. Formatted machine, reinstalled, put pst back and tried to download it all again.

Think it may be the firewall blocking it. Bit not at the pc at the moment
