GMail Problems....

Hi,

I have been experiencing problems downloading my GMail to Microsoft Outlook 2003. I have followed GMAIL's instructions including changing the port on SMTP to SSL 465, however when doing the test to confirm get timeout issues. I am able to go into the web interface and see the mail included my setting have had pop enabled.

Can anyone help me?

I suppose it's a matter of preference, but I really can't understand why you would use a mail client with GMail anyway...

you have to enable poop3 access in gmail.

I like to download my mail, yes enabled pop downloading. the error message seems to be time out on ssl server.

a) Post the complete error message exactly as it appears on your screen (not some half thing that's sort of like xyz)

Stop using Outlook. Use Thunderbird instead. Or Evolution if you're that way inclined...
