gmail signature

Dumb question - you are on the latest version?

no problem - there's no such thing as a dumb question ;) I'm not IT literate hence my question on MBB

well there's the thing - my "private" gmail account seems to be up to date - it has the "my drive" function for inserting pictures.

my "work" gmail account does not have this feature??? it needs a URL from my drive - which I used before when I inserted the first company logo into the signature - now the same technique does not work?

Have you got an IT department you can talk to ?

lol typical IT ?

It has to be a setting. Have you Googled your problem ?
- countless times

this is the error message I get when I copy & paste URL into the "add image box" in gmail (I have deleted the link)

but if I paste that same URL in google them it pops up with that picture - no problem? I even tried pasting that from google - still does not work.

and yes I have "shared" the pic.

Ok guys some feedback for others

Somehow I figured out a way to got my logo into gmail.

Went to work gmail
settings
Deleted old logo
Saved
Open new mail
Inserted logo into mail
Sent mail to my other gmail account
Opened mail
Copied logo address
Went back to work gmail
Settings
Insert pic
Paste link into address bar
Save

And now it works.

Thanks for the help and support.

Wow very round about solution - but really glad you found one. Well done - and thanks for the share.

Ok well just an update again, that fix of mine didn't work for long.

So I found another solution.

Uploaded logo pic to google photos. Made it public and then copied address into gmail signature.

Now it works.
