Feel very embarrassed professionally. A new client sent me emails a week ago, and Gmail (which I normally love and prefer, and still do) put his email in the spam folder. The reason? "Gmail detected this as spam, as many emails sent from mweb.co.za are spam" . I can't remember the exact message I received, but it was something like that.

So, Gmail blames the mweb.co.za domain? That's unfair??

Anyway, rant over. I'll deal with it.

Just mark it as "Not spam".

I think Gmail decides what is spam based on users reporting spam. So if the mweb.co.za domain is considered spam by Gmail it's because multiple mweb.co.za domain addresses have been reported as spam, multiple times, by multiple gmail users.

Did make so, but thanks. Still think it is unfair of them to summarily mark the mweb domain as spam. Anyhoo :)

You clearly need a hotmail account.... dont worry they dont block on domain... Last time it was /24... wonder if they still do that... Such a beautiful practice O.o

LOL! despite the issue, I am quite bonded to my precious Google Apps.

I should give outlook.com a look though...

You can create a filter to stop messages like those from being send to spam.

Ultimately its a good habit to regularly check your spam folder.
