Gmail won't sync on S2

pse help. i have an MTN prepaid sim in Galaxy S2 and for some unknown reason the Gmail won't update with new messages. this morning i re-installed the WAP and other thing configurations but still no joy.
 
Eh?????? where's the MTN rep gone? there's no mention of him under "company reps".
