GNU just the same old ANC: Mbeki

Wow, and the award for biggest clickbait title of the month goes to BT.
Bro just released a book. When you see Mbeki in the headlines for the next few months, it’s gonna be the budget version.

In an interview with BusinessTech, Mbeki calls the GNU “the ANC in drag,” because he says it has not departed from policies that have long benefited the African middle class to the exclusion of the broader population.

Drag, lol. Anyhow, I didn't even know that the ANC recognises a middle class. I have read into their rhetoric. Doesn't these policies enable the upper class at the expense of the lower classes? This kind of strange for me, why is the middle class specifically mentioned? It is almost as if the upper class is being shielded from the "drag".

The black middle class has significantly grown under the ANC's majority rule, and the GNU is theoretically a continuation of this, although with mixed management for mixed issues.

What I am questioning is how many have benefitted disproportionately, in large sums, by means of empowerment or preferential treatment?
