Go Channel DSTV - false advertising

Shouldn't we lodge a complaint against DSTV?
They advertise that GO is now 24 hours long but for about 6 hours
they show the SMS2TV channel instead. It's not really 24hours
long now, is it? :)

Doesn't surprise me. Most channels repeat their entire schedule - some 3 times in 24hrs. That's also cheating.

In any case the Discovery channel, MM and Mnet is showing FTA tonight.
 
What is the SMS2TV channel?

Do people send SMS to a number and they are shown on TV? This goes on for 6 hours? The things today's youth regard as fun.

I get you but what happens on Go is that they broadcast an entirely different channel for about 6 hours or so at night. That other channel is not even a TV channel but a game channel, that other channel continues at the same time while it's being repeated on Go. It's not repeats of earlier shows they're
showing. It's completely false advertising.

SMS2TV is a channel where people play online games lasting about 10 minutes, but do so by using sending SMS'es to DSTV with short instructions.
The games are usually board-game-like-puzzles. Either DSTV fakes some
of the players or people genuinely play games they can download for
FREE on TV for R2 per SMS.
