Hansard, the official record of Parliamentary proceedings, does not agree with Buyelwa Patience Sonjica's version of recent events, the Sunday Independent reports.
...
Sonjica said that she was merely chastising the Democratic Alliance's Tony Leon, the former leader of the official opposition, who was heckling her.
...
But Hansard, the official, verbatim record of Parliamentary debates and proceedings, tells a different story.

"It reveals that, when she made her comments about going to sleep early, Sonjica was not addressing Leon at all, but was listing her 10 ways of conserving electricity," the Sunday Independent said.
...
"Switch off all lights in the home when not in use and go to sleep early so that you can grow ... (laughter) ... and be cleverer.
Stupid ****tard. She should be fired for lying.

The "Collective" - mindless bees buzzing about.

Whats a bet Hansard now gets shut down, or goes private so that the public can't get to it?

I wonder what the next lie is going to be - maybe Hansard speaks in a white male voice?
:D

LOL :D:D:D but this still has enormous potential entertainment value. Endless possiblities for excuses. Maybe we should start a betting pool for what excuse they'll use to explain away this one

[In a Jeopardy voice]
I take "Whinging racists" for R1000 hashbrown...

I'm betting they blame the Scorpions or the DA or the ID... who ever looks at them 'funny' in Parliment

Cleverer, even google doesn't know what it means (http://mybroadband.co.za/photos/showphoto.php?photo=2507&size=big&cat=500) at least she's not the minister of education.

My Concise OED gives:

clever
n adjective (cleverer, cleverest)
1 quick to understand, learn, and devise or apply ideas. Øskilful; adroit.
2 [with negative] British informal healthy or well: I didn't feel too clever.

I really don't know why people have a problem with "cleverer".
