Is the domain locked?
When was it registered?
New domains cannot be transferred. You have to wait a while.

I recommend contacting Hexonet and ask them to assist, they provide registrar services for Godaddy's co.za domains

Slight off topic ....

Can anybody recommend a good local company to be my registrar ? The actual domain hosting will be hosted overseas.Just need access to the registrar's portal so i can change the namservers and point the actual dns hosting to my overseas hosting company.

Is that domain a newly registered domain?

If so then it cant be transferred within its grace period - how ever Godaddy should be able push the domain to another Godaddy account and then perform a contact update for you.

the 1 domain is 6 months old and the other domain is over 1 year old.

Guess its time to find a new registrar , dont have time for mickey mouse companies ....
