Though I would start a discussion on gold selling.

Given the publicity around it by Blizzard and their attempts to stop it even there useless 1hr cooldown in 2.2 if I recall. Its seems to me from the spam in game that its larger than ever.

Just wonder how many of those Epic birds are bought on E-bay and it also seems that the price of this mount is one of the big drivers for gold farmers.

i hardly see gold spam any more - using spam sentry just incase.
Buying gold is like cheating imo - what the hell is the point.
Then again - Blizz has made it almost impossible for the average user to make the kind of money required to get an epic mount. I know i will struggle...cause and effect

I hate the gold spammers

its rather funny seeing them advertise "SELLING GP ! only $30 per 1000gp!"
when im on a EUROPEAN realm

That always cracks me up as i report them for spamming

optioncard: just because they selling it for $ doesnt mean they dont have farmers on the EU realms.

I have fellow Guildlies that basically respec everyday between pvp and pve
Fully flask every raid
Have all mounts....etcetc
and i wonder how they do it...as barely managed to keep flasked every raid ....

Murdoc my point exactly, I still believe there is a huge amount of cash trading going on, even more than before, and it's reflected in the crazy prices in the AH which makes it a pain for honest players. Just wish they could get this out of the game.

I don't think reporting spam helps either, have you seen how fast they create and delete accounts, they are in and out of the game before you hit the spam button.

Pehaps Blizzard have shares in the gold farming companies, it's probably more lucrative than selling game time:eek:

On another point you made they need to make more potions and flasks last through death maybe I just die to much:(

I think pre 2.2 it was a lot worse thou. PVE is the real money bringer(I would imagine)
Like top guilds who spend ridiculous amounts of time wiping in new content, fully flasked and pre 2.2 fully potted as well. Including healing and mana pots and repair bills, thats a lot of money during. Infact the only way I can imagine some1 earning enuff to support that ,is to play every hour they not raiding (leaving no time to sleep?) or they buy gold

Or maybe they have good professions that make/save them lots of money.

hmm, theres a gnome mage in my guild... hes got mining and jc, he doesnt pvp ever, he respecs every week for alar/hydross, gotten netherdrakes on 3 of his alts, and has over 12k gp... from dailies

believe me when i say, he doesnt buy gold

after we saw a screenie of his UI, bout 8k of that money went into the guild bank 4 repairs :p hes amassed bout 10k atm

Best way to get a constant supply of gold coming in for respecs etc. is doing your daily quests.

Find something easy to make and do that everyday and u will make about 100-150g per day for 15mins work and do it on a alt. Then do some of the easy daily quests and gold will not be a problem

oh and btw i hate gold sellers, they do spoil the game. Report them

lol, by the time you reach 70 you should have 1000g in the bank. You can average 100-200g a day just questing or farming. And like me I made a alt gave him 20g put him by the auction house. that was like a month ago since then I have many blues a epic, paid for my other alt epic land mount and am currently sitting on 100g on him and about 500g worth of items up for auction, I also have my rogues new weapons and armor ready for him when he lvls. www.auctioneeraddon.com ftw. takes about 15min to scan and then you need to learn what to buy. Hopefully by 70 I will have my 5000g ready.

PS: If you start making g off the ah, dont go buy more expensive item just buy more of the bargains that are bring in the g.
