Anyone have any ideas where the best place to get this item would be (in Pretoria)?

One of the security guards here at work is looking for one to fix his car, so he asked me if i could google it for him :)

Try looking at one of those Jap motor spares, they have like every engine and gearbox, or phone a few scrap yards in your area...

That being said, Golf 2 boxes are now too old to be on the hot list.

AFAIK the Golf 2 box is the same as the one on the Citi, so go to scrapyards and look for broken Citis.
