Golf 4 (2003) hooter sounding different?

suddenly noticed that the hooter on my golf 4 sounds totally different, now sounds like a polo hooter, could be one of 2 things:

- took my car for service and the original was swopped
- the original hooter is blown and a backup one kicks in this instance

funny thing is that the car was taken for service about 2 months back and the hooter was fine after the service (i think)

anyone experience this?

just called the agents, seems like these cars come with a low tone and a high tone hooter, so it sounds like one of them needs to be replaced, they quoted around R800...(ouch!)

I like the Ferraris hooter, anyone know where i can get one?
