Golf Mk1 CV joints

All 4 or just one side?

I had my Golf 3 CV's done on the right front for just under R700 at Automan. Was the cheapest I could find.

Umm... correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought a golf was two-wheel drive? :p

In my experience they come in one unit on VW Golfs. Ie. You replace the entire thing. Anyway, if you go for pirate parts, you're going to be around R600 out of pocket.
For the official bits, you're looking at about that for each wheel, so R1200.

R 1350 fitted for complete shaft (inner, outer and drive shaft) you can just do the outers as they are the ones that normally go first and make the cluck cluck noise.
