I stay in Richards Bay and work in Empangeni which is about 40km away from each other. I took a client to her agriculture colledge where she works which is about 50km out side if empangeni.
Its just sugar cane where ever you look and there is like no shops. the closest shops are in Empangeni yet 3G signal is very good in fact I get full signal.
I have a prepaid blackberry curve 3G and I get about 150kbs download speed in the middle of no where. MTN and Vodacom have just normal GPRS there but cell c has 3G.
I was uber impressed and kinda confused at the same time when people complain that they don't have coverage let alone 3G in CBD's.
