Hi all,

Just wondering if i'm being cheated on this deal.

I can buy a pre owned xbox 360(extra memory added up to 1tb) with 20 games and 2 remotes for R3000,

Is it worth it or am i being ripped of?

Sounds like a seerower console at the price.

Not sure how you qualify that as a rip off though...a new console costs R3999 in the shops without the games.

Simple, on special, the console with two controllers +250gb HDD sells for 3k brand new. I wouldnt want a control with an "upgraded HDD as it has no warranty and it is obviously second hand. The games are arguably a pluys if they are all original, but still not worth it in my opinion.

And then add to that, the Xbox One will be out in a few months.

Let's see..

What type of xbox is it? Old phat? Slim?
How old is the xbox?
Is it flashed? (are the games originals?)
What games does it come with?
Has the original HDD been replaced with a 2.5" 1TB drive?
Are both controls wireless?

All those factors are really important. New games (GTAV, Diablo 3 etc etc) are R700 each so the list of games is important. A 1TB 2.5" HDD is pretty much R1000 new.

Of course if it's flashed, then no, it's not worth it. You could get a cheaper xbox and do the rest yourself, for free. If it's a phat xbox, then no, it isn't worth it. It will just RROD sooner or later.
