Good card making software?

Hi all, I always used the cardzone version 1, and it is a good program. But I think it's a bit outdated. Any suggestions on what card making program is good, and not too expensive, for making birthday cards, business cards, banners, and so on, and maybe calenders too. Or do anyone know if there's a newer version of the card zone out? I tried but didn't find anything. Thanks

only saw this now. hallmark card studio 2008 is a good place to start.

Sorry but I do it all using Illustrator.

Just finished off a A3 calendar full of photos of the kids for the grandparents, aunts and uncles.

I use Hallmark 2008 and it's brilliant, but could be to expensive for you.
