Yup I know, there are plenty of places that need money, but to help someone local is always a good thing. So if you have an old sock this is I think a decent way of helping someone in need.

I know the guy so its not a scam and his story is legit. He is a genuine guy taking care of his GF and 3 kids (that are from a previous marriage if a guy that fails to pay child support), so

for that. It takes eating a lot of humble pie to go ask people for money.
