I'm looking for a good deal on a 9780.

Best I've seen so far is R249pm with R200 airtime, 25 sms's and BIS incl. I'm thinking of getting it but the only problem I see is that its from Nashua mobile. Heard pretty bad things about their service..

Any suggestions?
Thanks

Avoid nashua mobile, remember that you get what you pay for. There is a reason they have such good deals, they have a limited number of jars of mayonnaise to answer the phone and process accounts.

Rather pay the few bucks more and get some decent service.

Go to cellc and pay R299 for 100 anytime min, 25 sms and BIS. Its R50 more but you dont pay to call when they screw up your account, with nashua its a paid call to fix their mistakes.

Vodacom Blackberry talk 100 - 100 anytime minutes, 20 weekender minutes and BIS incl
R299 pm

It's a great phone but the new bolds are coming soon and have much greater specs, 1.2GHz is something perhaps worthwhile waiting for :) nevermind the touch screen!

Soon is a bit exagerated, the coming the end of the year only, still bout 5-6 months before the 9900 hits out shores, they have an expected US release of Q4, that's anytime from October to December.

Bought one cash at mtn for R3800 not too bad. I have to say absolutely loving the phone

So I took the risk and went for the Nashua mobile offer.. They need to port my number from vodacom prepaid to MTN so I'm not sure how long that's gonna take. Really hope I don't regret this.

Got mine from The Dubai mall at an electronics store opposite Bloomingdales for R3100 bran new ;) and they threw in a 1TB Seagate USB hard drive for an additional R400... Viva la not South Africa!!!

9900 BlackBerry will be arriving in South Africa end of June... I will wait for the 9900 but the price tag might be a killer but if I can purchase the phone for R4000 I will be happy but I refuse to pay T6000
