Good deal or not???

I'm considering selling my Acer Tarvelmate 5623 to buy something smaller.

Would R10K be a good price for this? It's 6 months old and has a few minor scratches of the cover. It also has a bag and a MS BT mouse to go with it.

That picture isn't right though, let me see if I can find the right pic. I'm also considering putting a 100GB 7200RPM drive in it to replace the 120GB 5400.

That is quite steep for a second hand Acer 5623 as a new one costs R11925. I would suggest you need to go a bit lower. Did you get the 3 year warranty (and register at time of purchase) with it as that may also make a difference.

I only got the 1 year I think, will double check. What would be a decent price?

Secondhand laptops are always dodgy from the buyer's point of view. I'd suggest R7500-R8000 would be fair.
