My nephew is planning on buying a phone, I looked around today online and came across this one. He'll mainly use it for calls, social networking and light gaming. What do you guys think?
Hisense U800

Android 4.4
Quad Core 1.2 GHz Processor
2000mAh battery
1GB RAM
16GB on-board memory
5.0″ Capacitive Multi-touch IPS OGS Display
8MP Camera LED flash and 5mp front

Bradlow & Morkels selling it for R999(need to confirm though, seems too good to be true)

Budget? I would have liked more RAM but at that price range you wont find much better...

R2000 I think. It's his second phone,
he had a J1 but lost it, so his dad
doesn't want to buy anything
expensive for him to lose again.

At that price point, I'd look at a used Samsung S4

Or a redmi 2, the hisense will lag worse than the j1.

They only sell 2 gb ram versions in South Africa.
But For anything under R2k Xiaomi is the best.
