So is abzo a Boot camp or Stepping Stone for marriage? Either way, that could go on a CV or be an entrepreneurial venture in the making :twisted: :p

Problem lies in the reason why the relationships didn't last...


Maybe you are really gorgeous and the ladies are insecure... Or they are overwhelmed by your intelligence and confidence...





/ or maybe you just are really bad in bad (BED) and they don't want to hurt your feelings.

Yes, it is :(, and having been the recipient of one of your "dumpings",when you so casually threw me over for dear Nevan, I can understand exactly how those ladies felt...made me just want to rush out and get married :(

You must be charmed. Have exceptional luck to date 5 women and avoid marriage. I'm jealous :)

I'm speculating here but you could look at it this way - maybe you and your acquaintances are simply getting to that age where you've just begun to enter a new phase of life - it's not a coincidence that they all got married after dating you, it's because their focus is on finding a life-partner, whereas your focus might still be on having casual relationships.

And basically from your point of view they're all moving on while you feel like you're still stuck in the same place? But that's not necessarily a bad thing, it simply means you haven't reached that point yet where you know in your gut what you really want to do. Or better yet - you know exactly what you want and aren't willing settle for anything other than that. Either way it's better to get clarity in your head than rush into something just because everyone else around you is moving on - chances are they're not as happy as they appear and might even be jealous of you for still doing your own thing.

On the other hand - and this is really negative but it is a sad fact of life; you might have to accept the possibility that it's just not for you, that you will never enter into that 'phase', never meet the person of your dreams and in all probability die alone. But if it's any consolation, the day you can accept that idea is also the day you can appreciate how much freedom you truly have and actually start enjoying it.
 
Well, of all of them, there's only one who I would have considered marrying. Unfortunately we sometimes meet the right people at the wrong time.

Three on campus, one at work, one through friends.

It gets really difficult to meet people once you're done with your tertiary education. So to all of you at college/university, that's your best time, seize it.
