Good P2P programs?

Can anyone recommend a good P2P program? Hopefully one with the following characteristics:

- No spyware
- High "it actually works" factor (you'd be amazed how many just don't)
- Good for downloading large files (eg. movies and TV shows) rather than music

I've been using FrostWire up until now, but it's started giving me grief for some reason. I've used BitTorrent and it's fantastic, but you can't turn off uploads. I want something that I can turn off uploads and be a parasitic leech on the network. Yes, I know this is wrong, but with my tiny ADSL cap, I can't afford to use up half my monthly allowance uploading to other people. When ADSL stops sucking in this country, I promise I'll turn on uploads.

Anyway, any suggestions?

eMule is by far the best but not the fastest

[EDIT] I use a eMule even for stuff like normal software found on download.com or microsoft.com, it is so easy to use and conveninent, you don't have to click 150000 times on the MS web site to get to the directx download or somthing like that ...

uTorrent is very good and fast. Obviously you would be using this software for legitimate activities such as "Startrek in the Pinkering", Linux distros and Mozilla etc.
