I'm enjoying watching the comments flying from the ANC, SACP, ANCYL, CYL (yeah, who the f**k are they) with regards to all those ANC "cadres" leaving office. These guys are heroes of the struggle, they put their life on the line to defy the Apartheid government and suddenly some snotty-nose little upstart like Malema have turned on them. My, how quickly we forget how we got to where they are.
I will applaud these guys if the start a new-(or possibly a class of 1950-1970s) ANC. The preachings of the Freedom Charter and the aims of the ANC were noble, unfortunately a good freedom fighter doesn't guarantee a good government leader. As the ANC seems to be taken over more and more by those who have completely forgotten (or more conveniently, ignore) the past, these admirable aims are being lost. If so, the new-ANC will be more the ANC than the ANC actually is.
Its entertaining, but I hope that something changes very quickly as this current leadership needs to be humbled. Even Tbone was more reserved than this lot of ranting and raving baboons threatening to kill, destroy or discredit everyone who disagrees with them.
