Good webcam recommendations for under R700

They are very expensive if you want anything with average quality. Not worth it to get anything less than the C920/22, but you look at R1500/R2000+.

R700 is going to buy you average junk.

Maybe check Cash converters / Facebook Market etc.
 
I bought my first webcam about 2 years ago - and a spec that I realised that is quite important (to me) is the field of view

I've got these and although they're decent enough quality, the FoV makes a huge difference as to how 'zoomed' it is . I'm flogging the C270 on my community group

  • Logitech C270 HD Webcam (FoV 78 degrees)​

  • Logitech C615HD Webcam (FoV 55 degrees)​

 
If you're going to spend R700 you'd be better off using your phone along with an app like Droidcam, assuming you have a semi-decent Android.
