Sent through my cancellation form this morning ... now I need to burn odd 5Gb before the end of the month :D

Wat het jy gekry? 3G? ADSL? WiMAX?

Gaan jy die router verkoop? Of met jou Landy daaroor ry? :D

My bank's already been instructed to reject anything with *iburst* and *wbs* as reference

Ek gaan 3G ... my Dell het die 5520 HSDPA ingebou, en met die nuwe 3Gb prys is dit goedkoper as iBurst. tipies!

Ek besluit nog oor die router ... dalk gedink om hom vir so nag onder die Landy te los, sodat die olie mooi orals kan inloop, dan aan die brand steek en met die Landy bo-oor ry :p

Goed so met die bank - hoop dit help om dit te blok :D

Goeie nuus met die Dell - is net minder komponente en kaarte wat oralster rondlê.

lol @ olie - hehehe, maak net 'n video daarvan en sit dit op youtube vir ander ibursters om te geniet :D
 
And here is why I am cancelling iBurst ... these retards just don't give a f#ck. Shaun Green, get that company's people sorted out!!!

ahhhh, I see they're still up to their old tricks, it's about time their "chief whip" replied to this thread besides beating the hell out of the offending employee.:rolleyes:
 
Some update: I got a call from Thato, explaining that my request has been processed by someone else, hence the deletion of my e-mail ... Ok, I can believe that. So to Thato, and Shaun Green, thanks for the phone call and the apology.

Now to make this really interesting, I got home tonight, and guess what, my iBurst modem is dead as a doornail!! Power supply (read transformer box) is getting power, but now power going into the modem.

So Libs, it would appear that the modem will be discarded in the proper manner:

You will all witness (just need someone to take the video clip) of an iBurst modem having an unfortunate encounter with the tyres of a 2Ton Land Rover Defender :D :D And for some added drama I might just light it up before driving over it :p

I'm also waiting to send in my notice. What package did you choose and is the connection subject to shaping?
 
I am using a Data SIM in the Dell's 5520 HSDPA modem, opting for the 3Gb Bolt-on bundle (R589pm) on my normal contract
