Goodbye Nissan NP200

Can one of the Chinese make a version of this? Surely somebody sees this potential market. Or maybe somebody has already?
In theory yes, reality I am fairly sure they don't really exists.

It will cost "nothing" to pay for the license & tooling but it seems niche for their domestic market hence manufactures are not bothering.

Here's another possible Brazilian alternative from Peugeot for the Nissan NP200...

Peugeot Hoggar. Built in Brazil and based on Peugeot 206. Just 2 outside Brazil...the other one in the Peugeot museum in France.
