I thought so too. I've been on Sentech for 3 years and decided to migrate 2 months ago. Got myself an OpenWeb Uncapped 512 account. I was surprised to find that my ADSL was significantly slower than Sentech. Sure, Sentech runs at 1mbps where my ADSL is at 512 but the difference in speed is really noticeably superior on Sentech. Maybe it's because the Sentech network is very under-utilised these days?ADSL is so much better!!

For example, I only fired up my Sentech modem yesterday for the first time in September. Before 24 hours had passed, I was done with my 10GB cap, using eMule. I have not come close to 10GB per day on ADSL. The best I've seen is 4.5GB p/d.
The only reason why I'm going to cancel my Sentech contract is because of the ridiculous R1 per meg that they charge when you exceed your cap.

Prepaid and uncapped? Doesn't make sense. What is prepaid then, since uncapped means you don't have to buy bandwidth.I'm about to get Wireless. Its Prepaid.
It costs only R350 PM(just like a 1GB vodacom data bundle does)
I get 128Kbit Upload and
128Kbit Download.
The speeds are constant. Acording to a friend of mine. They allow streaming and torrents even.
UNCAPPED. Which internet companies are the slow ones then? Sentech probably.
But my Wireless isn't using public towers I think.
