To everyone out there suffering with Virgin, why bother? For R289 you can now get a 1gb of data. More competitive than Virgin and even in Magalies I can get Edge (to some that is no big deal but when you have suffered Virgin's pathetic GPRS connection for the last year its like a whole new world!!). Virgin has not worked for over a week now, have just put in my Virgin sim to see if it works and guess what??,,....it doesn't! I have a feeling that Virgin is getting ready to pull the plug, how else can you explain the poor service delivery in the last few weeks? So into the dustbin goes the Sim card.! Well done Virgin, thats two customers (am changing to MTN on my laptop as well) you have lost, how many more?? To run a business on Virgin is akin to having a AA meeting in the Keg, pretty stupid!! Virgin,... Rather go back to whence ye came.

Yeah i'm leaving them 2 :( Nothing wrong with their call rates i'm on their v100 Nice and cheap with per second.
Problem is data service is non-existant it seems

Was on MTN be4 no probs great speeds stable etc but everyone i know is on vodacom so i'm gonna go with VC this time around just to avoid the cross-network charge. VC is more congested than MTN it seems though, but still fast stable just many many clients to service so call centre is always full :o

Also left Virgin today. Now on 2Gigabyte data bundle with Vodacom and obviously the 3G speeds are by far better than the semi working EDGE service from Virgin...
Was good while it lasted but my relationship with the virgin had to eventually come to an end. ;)
