Also, most people on welfare are too old to work (ie, theyve gone through the system and paid their taxes) or too young to work. But yeah. ****ing parasites! All of them! ZOMG!!!!! Lets make a marine1 world and make the kids into child labour and throw the old people out into the cold to survive themselves.

The people on welfare who are not too old or too young are generally hard working people that get knocked down in life. LIke a single mother of four with two jobs (ie pays her taxes so its not for free) who cant pay for her cancer treatment.

Only a very small minority are the freeloaders you seem to think the whole system revolves around. This is how myopic your view on this topic is.

If you knew what you are talking about you would know this is also not just a liberal thing. Social conservatives also support social security. Dont forget, economic activity is about the maximum satisfaction of human wants, not at making money.

SA still wants to head into the more welfare direction, i.e. extending child grants, mulling unemployment grants.
