So I am getting a tablet for the wife. Does that mean she will have to get another email address for the tablet for the google account. one email for each device?

Sorry I thought you meant she already has a gmail account. It's easier for her to use her tablet with her own email address rather than yours, but if she already has a gmail account she doesn't need another one.

I have 4 devices. Each has their own unique apps and settings. Am using the same gmail/Google account on all of them
