It's not a game for the faint of heart. You need very deep pockets and don't expect anybody with a winning formula to share it with you.

Do you want to make money from people clicking on your ads, or do you want to drive new business to your website? These are 2 separate advertising streams.

+1

ads are if you have some info/service to offer or some traffic(ads works terribly on business websites due to keywords suggesting competetor sites). PM me if you have any Q's

His original post said he wants to drive traffic to generate affiliate commissions.

Well, that's the confusing part.

Adwords is used to advertise your own website.
Adsense can be used on you website to generate revenue when someone else clicks on the ads.

It would help a lot if the OP could be a bit more precise on his requirements.

@skyhawk, I have some free Adword vouchers if you want to see how it works.

It's not confusing. He said he wants to drive traffic to websites to generate commissions. It's obvious these are not his website because he wants commissions. Adwords is not restricted to driving traffic to your own website.

I stand by my original post: you need deep pockets, and good luck finding somebody willing to share winning formulas! Adwords is a tough game and not for the faint of heart.

Two different interpretations of the same request.... I read something different than you and need some clarity from the OP

Afternoon

i dont have a website.

below is what i am interested in doing

By partnering with us you would be selling highly profitable software products. There are several ways you can sell, the most common of which is adding a new page to your web site describing our product(s). The page would include a special link to our site which marks them as your visitor. Best of all, it doesn't matter what kind of web site you have. Almost any web site can generate sales.

You can choose to have your visitor go to the information page of the product or directly to the order page.

Either way, when somebody clicks your special link and makes a purchase, your account is credited 20% of the total sale. You can login and view your statistics at any time. Once each month you are paid by PayPal.

Don't have a website? No Problem.

You can still earn money using pay per click advertising such as Google Adwords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. Even if you have never used these systems before, it's very easy to learn and promoting our products is a great way to start out

hope all have understood my problem

Ok, so in this case, if you don't have a website which you're already doing some SEO on, you will need to setup an Adwords account, load some money on, create some advertising campaigns and earn your rewards.

But, as stated earlier, you need deep pockets for this to be successful. Weigh the benefits of a Adwords generated lead, which may not necessarily convert to a sale, against the cost per click you're going to pay. Let's say you pay R50/click and the lead converts to a sale, how much is the product worth of which you'll earn 20%? If the product is worth R100, you just lost R30 and gave them a new client. If the product is worth R300, you pocketed R10!

Depending on the product, the market and the name of the supplier, you could expect to spend R2000pm+ on Adwords. Some of our clients spend R45,000pm+ but their products are worth thousands and their leads effectively cost them say R50 or R100 per lead.

Yes, Google Adwords is not as easy as signing up, providing your credit card information and developing and posting an ad. Although one can do this, the amount of traffic you generate from the service may not necessarily be targeted traffic and it may also not be a lot of traffic.

You need to go do some reading up from Adwords professionals on how they go about before placing ads on Adwords. You need to do a lot of things before just falling away. You need to do keyword research, you need to ensure traffic is taken to the correct pages and much much more.

Also, like stated above, you will need to have good cash laying around. The simple fact, and this is the truth, is that the majority of hits you will pay for will be people not interested in your services as the ads are clicked by unscrupulous webmasters to generate income. You will also get a lot of traffic from people who will not be interested in your services / products - all of which you will pay for.

This is why keyword research, landing pages, planning, etc., etc., is so important. You may end up getting 1000 visitors a day costing you $100, $200 and they may all just hit your front page and leave.

We joined the program back in Sep 2011, I honestly doubt you will be able to grasp Adwords in 3hours. From basic account setup to ad extensions. It's a constantly evolving platform, most of the features that were available when we signed up for our first MMC, are not available today, and there are new features to help make the ads more efficient.

Google Engage itself is also changing and becoming Google Partners, so search, read up and anticipate changes.
