Just remember that it is not technically 'available' in SA yet.
To use anything other than Youtube with it requires some configuration and a service like Unotelly.

Plex, Playon and a lot of other media servers are just waiting for the SDK to be released, then they will cater for streaming to the Chromecast. Nifty little gadget. I've not regretted buying it yet, even if its only used to stream the kids Youtube to the tv.
Took my 3 year old about 5 minutes to figure out how to cast youtube from his tablet. I only had to show him once.

Have you tested the desktop sharing at all? Would like to know if you could do powerpoint with it.
