Huge changes on the cards as Google declared illegal monopoly

On Monday a US federal judge ruled Google has violated antitrust laws, saying the organisation is a monopolist, and it has acted as one to maintain its monopoly.

Google disputes the ruling. Its president of global affairs, Kent Walker, said “this decision recognises that Google offers the best search engine, but concludes that we shouldn’t be allowed to make it easily available”.

If you want anti competitive, then look at how Microsoft bundle edge and bing with windows.
And despite that, people still install Chrome and use Google search. The world has moved on since 2002, those same old arguments no longer apply. Even MS has started shifting focus to other areas of growth.

There's no anti-competitiveness here just as there's no anti-competitiveness with MS. People are just going looking for it...

Kill the global economy! Anarchy, chaos, poverty, hunger and famine is how we will stay in power forever! It is unthinkable that there are still companies making money, employing people and pushing trillions into taxes for governments.

Alright, Rambo!

Wonder if they'll force a Standard Oil style breakup on Google... How would it even work though?
