Google Drive question

Is there a way to setup my Desire S to upload certain files / folders to Google Drive? Eg, Whatsapp does a backup to my SD card every morning at 4am or something and I thought it'd be cool if the backup was automatically pushed into the cloud.
 
Not yet, Google has put very few features into GDrive. There are 3rd party apps that can integrate with Dropbox to do such things.
Probably be a few months before such things are out for GDrive, its still missing some extremely basic features as it is.
 
Haven't played around with the mobile app so much, but what if you set your whatsapp backup location to within the Google Drive folder on your phone?
 
The mobile app is just the old Google docs app with a facelift so seriously limits in features.

PS: Currently whatapp keeps records of your communication on their side and can sync to your device. Does this everytime I flash a new rom so I would not worry to much about that app.

For my other data I bought My Sync Center(Android) that automatically sync my back-up folder among others to my PC when I get into WiFi range. I just set my titanium back-up to dump the files in that directory and I am sorted.
