Hi all,

I've been searching the forums and cannot find an answer - so apologies if this is a question that has been asked previously.

I am looking for a way to sync folders on my hard drive that are not within the Google Drive folder. Moving the folders to the Google Drive folder is not an option for me.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance :)

Sadly Google Drive doesn't cater for multi-root folder setups, so you're pretty much stuck. My suggestion would be to copy all the folders into Google Drive folder anyway, and then create symlinks to the newly created folders so that the system still thinks they're in their original place.

(You could of course move the default Google Drive root folder to point at something else though: http://www.techgainer.com/change-google-drive-default-folder-location-windows/ )

Thanks very much. It's unfortunate that Google Drive does not do this. But that article helped thanks, at least I can change to where the bulk of the data is. For the rest I'll make a plan :)
