Anyone got any experiance with this program? I cannot search any address in S.A. someone suggested zooming in to the area I want- but this is too tedious. Why can't we just search for an address?

Google earth sucks. Most of the Images they use is so old (some older than 6 years). They don't update the stuff regularly? You can try Terraserver, but then you will have to pay for the Images and you run the risk of images also older than 2 years...

If someone told you a few years ago you'll be able to view the earth from above, for free, you wouldn't have believed him.

Now you're complaining about how much it sucks.
Its amazing what we've come to...

Just guessing but I'd think that before you can search for addresses etc the area needs to be mapped (as opposed to just the satellite photo)

If someone told you a few years ago you'll be able to view images of the earth updated every three minutes, and after a couple of years its still the same image, wouldn't you think it sucked!

If they made promises etc, why can't they live up to that?

Well it was amazing in the beginning, but I understand PHTech's point. On my property there is a swimming pool, and my house is not even on there. The swimming pool was covered up more the 5 years ago...:(

Like most things I guess its a case of "You get what you pay for" ;)

I'm sure they update the images on a priority basis. So it probably depends
on where you are located.
