Yeah - I just want to be a client that interacts directly with Google on the same playing field like most of the world.

Fact remains we still pay a moveeese premium down here
The Xperia Z tablet is like 8 grand I think, but that's on a whole 'nother level. The Nexus 7 2 or whatever the official name is will probably be miles ahead of anything in the price range again, but we will get f'ed in the a compared to international pricing I'm sure.

I can handle the restrictions in the Play Store with regards to licensed content ala Magazines, TV Shows, Netflix - TPB is there for that.
But just gimme the hardware FFS!
