Google Apps seem to be optimised for tablets... Chrome goes fullscreen and does auto-translate ala desktop browser...

Maybe it is just because I don't see the use of a middle ground between a phone and 10" tablet.
 
Pricing is good - but not like we'll ever see the likes of it :(

Can't buy into Chromecast just yet - for youtube anyway.

Maybe I'm just not a power user for youtube.

A cool to have for showing off to friends I suppose.
But a networked home wouldn't need this kind of thing - well its nice for on the fly
 
Really liking the possibilities of this Chromecast device... too bad the content is so hard to come by in this country...

Also what does ZAR5K get you here today?

16GB Wifi iPad?
32GB Xperia S/Z Tab I think - not close, 6K for 16GB

Fact remains we still pay a moveeese premium down here :o
