Android getting custom calling cards and live location-sharing in Google Messages

Google will let users of its Android mobile operating system set up custom calling cards and share their live location in messages, catching up with features that Apple already offers to iPhone owners.

People who use Google Messages can share their location in a real-time map view while texting, the Alphabet-owned company said in a blog post on Tuesday.

Do like that if has scheduled send as well, wonder if WhatsApp will ever catch up to RCS...

Will be interesting to see if over time we'll have people swap back from platforms like WhatsApp, since everyone will have RCS.
